He was kinda lurking int he shadows the whole episode though... Just not in costume..

and yeah.. I wish they had done more with Atom Smasher.. but this premier was already chock full of explanation/exposition. Yes, less emo Barry please..

I like the new partnership between Cisco and the Doc. when the Doc named him Atom Smasher i bout fell out laughing. The Batman reference was great. The subtle references to Zoom.
They have no clue whats coming...

I give this a solid 9 out of 10 for a season premier.

I don't know if Hawkman debuted before or after Flash (they were within a month of each other) but he and a few other Golden Age JSA characters appeared on "Smallville".

Obviously the special effects department sure did. Yikes.

Speaking of him, I'm assuming everyone figured out that Atom Smasher was stranded here from Earth 2 and killed his Earth 1 doppleganger, though killing your alternate reality self seems like it needs a better explanation. Also doesn't explain why he's a villian, though. And Zoom is probably an alternate reality Reverse Flash.

If they are really gonna stick to this "TV is separate from movies and probably also shows on other networks" thing, we should be allowed to see Green Lantern, the JLA, and anyone else the showrunners might want to use. This is just silly they want to have it both ways like that.

This is what kills me. DC has the potential for a CRAZY good tv universe right now. It's stupid they refused to include this Flash and Green Arrow, but won't let them properly have access to Superman, Batman, or any of the other big hitters.
